Our Production Team is Kind of a Big Deal! UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the Picking Department, you will be responsible for picking garments to fulfill customer orders. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training! • Perform assigned tasks by utilizing established processes and procedures to ensure productivity, quality, safety, attendance, and overall performance.
• Operate machines which includes strapping equipment.
• Place totes of strapped garments onto conveyor belt and retrieve totes from designated areas.
• Comply with work instructions as directed by leadership.
• Participate in plant-wide safety activities.
• Achieve performance and quality standards as set by the department.
• Perform other duties as described by leadership. QualificationsWhat we're looking for:
  • Actively seeking High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age or older
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to hear, talk, see, and distinguish between colors. Reasonable accommodations are provided.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
  • Ability stand for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
