Description: Commercial / OTR Tire Tech General Description:Perform alignment and Tire service for commercial vehicles and large equipment, inside shop and outside roadside and customer yard work.Commercial / OTR Tire Tech Duties Include:-- Inspect vehicles using commercial TIA standards and Advise customer and or management of necessary repairs. -- Align front ends and suspension systems, using alignment equipment-- Drive service truck to customer locations and requested road service calls.-- Raise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacks.-- Safely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and/or torque sticks.-- Safely operate all service truck machinery, including but not limited to all shop machinery, boom and hook.-- Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks.-- Perform general housekeeping duties.-- Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements: Commercial / OTR Tire Tech Requirements:-- Prior commercial tire experience preferred. -- Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.-- The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.-- Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group.-- Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well. Reliable Transportation to work and a good Daily Attendance.
