Solution External summary:
The Travel Nurse RN specializes in the cardiovascular intensive
care unit (CVICU) and is responsible for providing nursing care to
critically ill cardiac patients. This position requires a Kentucky
RN license, ACLS, and BLS certifications, along with a minimum of
two years of relevant experience. Nurses will work 12-hour night
shifts for 13 weeks, ensuring patient safety and effective
management of specialized equipment.

Description & Requirements
--- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
--- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
--- Call Requirements: None
--- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH & KY License
--- Years of Experience: 2+
--- Float Requirements: Yes - PTCA (Only CVICU patients) or other
ICU units
Unit Information:
--- Number of Beds: 17
--- Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
--- Equipment: CRRT (Prismax), IABP, IMPELLA, ECMO, VADs
--- EMR: Cerner
Hiring Profile:
--- Must Have Skills/Experience: CVICU experience, Open heart
Recovery within 24hrs experience, Hemodynamic (Swan) experience
--- Preferred Skillset/Experience: ECMO, CRRT, IABPs, Impella, VAD,
and heart and lung transplant experience
--- Type of Patients on Unit: Cardiac Patients
