• Employment Type: Travel high acuity, Prismax for CRRT in both units; ECMO, VADs in CVICU # beds/procedures: 36 in ICU, 12 in CVICU/heart recovery, VAD implantation, post EP procedures, post cath lab, Patient ratio: 1:2 Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? Yes Top diagnosis/procedures: sepsis, COPD, CHF, CAD, CKD, AKI, stroke, CABG, AVR, Common equipment used: Impella, IABP, PA catheter, bladder scanner, Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? Required: ACLS, BLS, NIH, 2 years experience, cardiac experience Work Experience (Basic): 2 years of acute care RN experience Work Experience (Desired): None Education (Required): Diploma or Associate Education (Desired): Certification (Required): Registered Nurse Certification (Desired): Required Skills: IV insertion Blood draws PICC/Central Line management: Dialysis Fistula: assess only A-line management CVP IABP Obtain 12 lead EKG Cardioversion/defibrillation Epicardial pacer management Procedural sedation CPAP/BiPAP Ventilators Nitric Oxide Trach Care EVD management ICP monitoring Impella/LVAD ECMO Periotoneal dialysis CRRT Epidural/PCA pump Feeding tubes Continuous bladder irrigation Chemo administration Wound vac PeopleMed a division of All About People Job ID #1043.
