NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Evansville, Indiana.Job Description & Requirements

  Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS.
  
  Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 3 years as RN, 1 full year of ICU/Medical ICU/Neuro ICU experience, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.
  
  Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
  
  Patient Population: General medical ICU patients general cardiac/neuro, respiratory failure, vascular post -surgical, renal failure, sepsis.
  
  Skillset: REQUIRED: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills. Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), ETT/vent management (RT available), Initiate/titrate (sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin, etc.), sepsis protocols/care, post ROSC therapeutic hypothermia protocol.
  
  All active certifications + license required!
  
  Pay range: $1,918.08-$2,018.08/week
