  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel RN - Cardiac ICU - NeuroShift:--Nights / 6:30p-7a,--12x3, 36 hrs per week,--will accept 48 upon request, EOHLength:--13 weeksWeekend/Holiday : 3 weekends out of every 6 week scheduleRequirements:
  • IN/compact license
  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience
  • 1 full year of ICU/Medical ICU/Neuro ICU experience
  • 1 travel assignment
  • Trauma level II experience
  • Skillset: dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills. Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), ETT/vent management (RT available), Initiate/titrate (sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin, etc.), sepsis protocols/care, post ROSC therapeutic hypothermia protocol
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • Preferred: CRRT, tPa administration/assessments, massive transfusion (Belmont)
  • Recent Epic charting experienceOther details:
    • Float Requirement: First to float within skillset
    • Patient Population:-- --General medical ICU patients - general cardiac/neuro, respiratory failure, vascular post -surgical, renal failure, sepsis
    • Unit Information: 28 beds.-- Ratio: Days 1:2-3; NOCs 1:2-3; CN rarely takes patients.
    • No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)
    • Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs
