TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40215 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Experience: 2 Years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Trauma Level 1 experience Job Description: - Provide high-quality care in an emergency department setting. - Work independently with strong clinical assessment skills. - Maintain a compassionate approach towards patients, visitors, and coworkers. - Stay calm under pressure while managing a patient ratio of 1:4 or 5, depending on acuity. - Utilize equipment such as Phillips monitors and EMR systems (Cerner experience preferred). - Adhere to the dress code with royal blue scrubs. - Participate in every other weekend rotation as required by department needs. - No call requirements are necessary for this position. - Engage effectively as a team player with colleagues in a busy, high-stress environment. - Preferred candidates will possess charge experience and familiarity with Level 1 trauma centers. - Complete orientation efficiently and maintain professionalism and adaptability in a collaborative team environment. 26045797EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam TNCC 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing In some assignments, travel nurses may have opportunities to participate in health education initiatives, promoting preventive care and wellness in the community.
