• Employment Type: Local ContractTitle: Registered Nurse, CardiologyLocation: Louisville, KYShift: 5x8 Mon - Friday6 month contract to hire Job Description:The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication skills to foster and contribute to a collegial environment, with the primary focus of providing outstanding care to our patients and their families. responsible for all clinical duties that include but are not limited to; prepping clinic, triaging patients, patient education, requesting confidential medical records. Overall, the ideal candidate should enhance the way healthcare provider's interaction with patients and their families as well as each other.Responsibilities:--- Facilitate an exceptional patient care experience by ensuring and assisting patient flow within the office, attending to needs of patients, their families and medical staff--- Prepare patient for physician visit:--- Obtain and document appropriate vital signs and health history information in Electronic Health Record (Allscripts).--- Assist patients with any paperwork necessary for the visit.--- Check vital signs--- BP Monitor--- Medication administration.--- Assist with follow up calls to families regarding visits/procedures.--- Documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting.--- Patient triage:--- Telephone and walk-in triage,--- Patient documentation and follow up.--- Assist with preparing clinical schedule.--- Provide excellent, clear documentation in every area of the office. All documentation is done in the Electronic Health Record, either by entry or by scanning documents.--- Work closely with physicians to ensure patient and family needs are met in an expeditious manner.--- Assist in other areas of office as required.Requirements:--- Graduate of an accredited RN program--- Current RN license in the State of Kentucky--- Must be ACLS Certified--- CPR certificationPreferred:--- 4 years clinical experience--- 1 year in medical office/clinic setting--- Experience in Cardio specialty--- Working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel preferred--- Epic Electronic health record experience preferred--- Self-directed and motivated with the ability to multitask--- Strong organizational and communication skills requiredMedasource Job ID #JO-2409-151607.About Medasource
