Description:We are looking to add a couple full-time Commercial Service Technicians to our team.This is a career position for a motivated, hard-working team member. Duties Include:-- Inspect vehicles using commercial inspection forms and report potential repairs to supervisor; apply test instruments to equipment and read results to diagnose malfunctions; inspect and verify dimensions and clearances to comply with factory specifications. -- Perform basic commercial maintenance and repair, including oil changes, lubricating machinery and equipment, filter and fluid inspection and replacement, and other light mechanical items and repairs.-- Align front ends and suspension systems, using alignment equipment and balancing machines. -- Perform brake, shock, strut, suspension and other mechanical repairs and parts replacements.-- Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices.-- Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels.-- Drive service truck to customer locations and requested road service calls.-- Test drive commercial vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operating condition.-- Raise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacks. -- Safely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and/or torque sticks.-- Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment. -- Safely operate all service truck machinery, including but not limited to all shop machinery, boom and hook.-- Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks. -- Perform general housekeeping duties.-- Perform other duties as assigned.
